Kelly Hinds RD LD

_DSC0224Since 2001, Kelly Hinds RD LD has worked in a variety of medical and behavioral healthcare settings and also developed the nutrition programs for three eating disorder facilities in San Diego, California. To compliment her specialty in eating disorders, Kelly established a strong foundation in clinical nutrition treating patients with special medical concerns in acute care at Scripps Health & Sharp Health Care.

Kelly frequently speaks in the community to promote healthful, balanced eating and has been a guest lecturer in classrooms at the University of California San Diego & Alliant International University. Kelly also lectures professional groups, psychiatrists, physicians & dietitians on recognizing and treating patients with eating disorders. Kelly is the creator of Taste, the first of its kind eSupport and Education Program.

She is a contributor to the Nutrition Blog Network and previously served on the Board of the San Diego Chapter of International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.

Kelly is available for professional speaking engagements and has lectured groups such as The American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, California Association of School Board Officials, Girl Scouts, school district employees, high school & college student organizations, and bariatric support groups.

Kelly received her B.S. in Nutritional Sciences, Cum Laude from the University of Missouri Columbia, honored as a member of Kappa Omicron Nu.
